Its absolutely fabulous! Oddly even wonderful on flatwork (on my Welsh T)! Comfortable too. Ingenious!
I'm not a beginner, but certainly not a professional (yet). This knife has allowed me to increase my speed without worrying about holes. I love the curves at the top of the blade. I've been able to use those easily for tight areas!
I am a newbie to hand stripping and was skeptical due to the price but this is a must have for anyone with a dog that needs to be hand stripped. Beautiful craftsmanship and balance provide no hand fatigue. It helps you feel what hair is loose and when to move on. Very forgiving and productive. My scruffy little cairn terrier looks borderline professionally groomed now.
Works really well
I paid $10.27 for postage but my stripping knife ended up in a priority mail envelope with insufficient postage ($3.62 short) and I had to go to the post office and get it almost a week after it should have been delivered to my house.

I waited until I really used this to leave a review. I can honestly say I love it. I trimmed 2 Norwich Terriers with it, and there isnt a single hole or broken hair. My hands are bigger and it fits very nicely because of the size and shape of the handle. I had no muscle cramps or blisters either. Lisa got my order out quickly. There was an out of stock item and rather than ask if I wanted a refund or try something different, she went ahead and sent me a different item (wrap) and an extra one also. I appreciated that extra thought and effort. I had already ordered one of these knifes for a Scotty friend, she loves it also, so I will be ordering more as gifts. I highly recommend this.

We purchased this tool and did see it is out of stock and on back order. Is there an ETA for when you estimate it will be back in stock for right handed tool please

I am new to handstripping, unforunately when rolling my BT every 10 days using a knife and/or stone, I occassionally put a hole in coat. When I saw this tool and read it was great for beginners, less apt to leave holes in coat, I was sceptical. But it is great, I love it!
