The original ChokeFree™ Harness is the ONLY harness I use on my dogs, and recommend to my puppy buyers! ~Lisa Sons - Taliesin Norwich Terriers
Developed in 2006, the original ChokeFree™ Harness was designed to not put any pressure on the dog's trachea or airway. The center portion of the soft, smooth, one-piece patented ChokeFree™ design touches the pet in-between the pet's front legs, and not the pet's fore chest, ensuring no pressure placed on the airway.
There are similar step-in designs that claim to be non-choking or choke-free but they often still place pressure on the pet's airway and cause choking and gagging.
Great for Norwich, Dachshunds, Frenchies, Yorkies, Chihuahuas and any breed that is sensitive to pressure on the airway.

How to measure your dog
The size matches your dog's girth in inches. For the correct size, wrap a fabric measuring tape around the pet’s chest from behind the front legs up and around forming a circle to the top of spine. Needs to be snug, but not tight. Be sure to measure against the skin -- not the fur. Then, add an inch for comfort. This is very important, as you want the harness to be snug, but not too tight that the pet can't breathe!
If the measurement is at the half-inch or toward the next inch, order a size up. For example, if your dog measures 15 1/2 inches, order the Size 16 or 17 for a little extra room.
